Jessie Gabe began her screenwriting career on CBC’s BEING ERICA. She garnered a Writer’s Guild of Canada award, a Canadian Comedy award, and two Gemini nominations (including one win) for her work on the show. In 2011, Jessie was fortunate enough to receive a CTV Fellowship to attend the Banff World Media Festival and was awarded the Bell Media National Fellowship Award of Distinction the following year. She joined the MR. D writing staff in its second season and quickly moved up to head writer and executive producer. Her first feature film CAS & DYLAN was directed by Jason Priestley and starred Richard Dreyfuss and Tatiana Maslany. She recently joined the FRANKIE DRAKE and REX writers’ rooms for their second and first seasons respectively as co-executive producer. Jessie is currently in development on her own television and film projects.
